Canadian Deficit "Very Affordable" According To PM Harper

Prime Minister Stephen Harper is telling Canadians that the deficit they are projecting for this fiscal year is “very affordable” when compared to deficits in other nations.
Speaking to a tiny gathering in Quebec that included mainly his own supporters(his wife)and a few journalists, Harper explained that Canadians are lucky.
He stated that
“We have some room for manoeuvre, and that is making other countries jealous.”
He refused to elaborate on what countries were jealous of our meagre $50 billion deficit.
He then went on to say that “Canada can afford to run this $50-billion deficit because his Conservative government managed the nations’ finances very well during its first three years on the job.”
This is just another silly remark from a very silly Prime Minister.

Harper is merely leading by example. He wants everybody else to go deeper in debt too. His idea of stimulating the economy is to reinflate the credit bubble with more debt.

Has anyone actually seen his economics diploma? I'm thinkin' it might have a lot in common with Obama's birth certificate. 🙂
