Woodstock Mayor To Issue Media Alert

And Here Comes Blackout Day…

Mayor Michael Harding will challenge
mayors from across Ontario to say Count Me In! to the Community Conservation
Challenge Day to take place on the sixth anniversary of the infamous blackout
– August 14th.
Mayor Harding will issue an energy conservation challenge to fellow
municipal leaders across Ontario at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, June 3, as part
of Ontario’s evolving Count Me In! campaign launched during Energy
Conservation Week.
Mayor Harding will be joined in person and by phone by several other
Ontario mayors who have already accepted his challenge as well as
representatives of the Association of Municipalities of Ontario, Electricity
Distributors Association, Independent Electricity System Operator and Ontario
Power Authority.
