US On Verge Of Legalizing Pot, Canada Continues Arresting Users

From the USA bible belt to the sandy shores of California, a new movement to legalize pot is taking hold with the likes of Sarah Palin(former republican VP candidate) and Arnold Schwarzenegger jumping on the bandwagon.
Alaskas’ (republican)governor recently legalized the possesion of small amounts of Marijuana in your home and the terminator is busy examining whether or not a $50.00 an ounce tax is good enough, and whether or not there is a way to make the legalization of pot work for the people of California.
It is interesting to note that of all the places that pot has been decriminlaized that this mostly has taken place in CONSERVATIVE(republican)jurisdictions.
SO WHAT THE HECK IS WRONG WITH CANADAS’ CONservative government! The answer:they aren’t conservatives, they are reformers and alliance wackos.

You’re right. Harper has alienated most of his traditional conservative base and all he has left are the extremists. Don’t give up hope though. One thing Harper has demonstrated is that he will sacrifice any principle for votes. If he thought legalizing marijuana would buy him a majority you’d see Acapulco Golds on sale right beside Player’s Light at the corner store.

Are you saying the US has stopped arresting users?
didn’t seem that way last time I looked. In fact they are far more strict than Canada.
Oh, forgot, US government is Liberal ergo good,
    Canada is Conservative ergo bad.
