And Today I Will Offer The World….A Free Ice Cappucino Recipe

JimBenders’ Ice Cappucino Recipe.

After years of making thousands of cups of coffee and thousands of “ice cappucinos” i thought I’d do you all a service, perhaps even saving you TONS of money over the summer, and best of all, you’ll be treated to a REAL iced cappucino, not some phony oil based crap with wierd thickening agents and those pesky chemical stabilizer additives…or whatever the heck they put in those things.
First you’ll need a blender,
Approximately 5 cups of coffee(hot or cold…you can save your leftovers from the morning brew)
2 1/2 cups of ice(or more if you like a similar to milk shake thickness)
4 tablespoons of sugar(or honey)
1 1/2 cups of milk
1/8 cup of light cream
Perhaps 1 teaspoon of “instant” coffee if you like it really strong(we do!)

Put on your goggles(one time i forgot to take the metal mixing spoon out….don’t do was a hell of a mess)

Blend on medium, perhaps high if you can handle it for approxiamtely 10-15 seconds. Sometimes I use smaller bursts if the flask is too full.

It may take you a few swings at it, but, the cost of the whole thing is less than $1.50, and there is enough to serve 3-4 people at least.
It’s amazingly simple to make, and if you are into the low fat thingy…cut the cream and use fat free milk.
We like the added “boost” of the instant coffee for a really full flavour.(Besides, it helps keep you awake.)
