World Health Organization Says Don’t Eat Pork

World Health Organization officials have released a warning not to eat pork lest it contain the dreaded H1N1 FLu virus but Gerry Ritz the minister of agriculture for Canadas’ government(and a former chiropracter who knows nothing about food safety)says eat the pigs, they won’t kill you.
Ritz is the same fellow that slept through Canadas’ listeria crisis last year. When he discovered that people across the country were dying after consuming meat tainted with Listeria, Ritz then commented that he hoped Wayne Easter(a former Liberal Agriculture minister)was one of the victims.
Personally, I wouldn’t believe a thing that Gerry Ritz has to say. He’s about as clueless as they come and I would advise anyone taking his advice to reconsider that advice or at least another educated opinion.

Hmmm….I have a couple of friends who would love to buy pork to help the pig farmers BUT don’t trust Ritz.

So, his yuk, yuk, laugh it up, incompetent moments may come back to haunt the poor farmers.

I heard the spokesperson from the WHO say very specifically that it was OK to eat pork. That was Monday. Where is your reference or source?
