Victoria Stafford Mom A No Show At Daily News Conference

TARA MACDONALD SKIPS NEWS CONFERENCE?

Tara Macdonald, the mother of 8 year old missing Woodstock girl Victoria Stafford yesterday “skipped” her daily news conference in front of her home instead releasing a statement to the media that stated that after “several bad dreams the night before” she was not feeling well and decided to take the day off. But then again, she did say at one point that she would stop doing these news conferences anyways, didn’t she?
Rodney Stafford-Toris’ father, yesterday(who emerged from the MacDonald-Goris home)read from a pre-printed statement that said
” Victoria is just a little girl, a little girl with hopes and dreams of being a child. “I am begging you not to take that away from her, no matter what the reason behind this, Victoria does not deserve this, no child does”. ” I am simply asking that before things get any worse- please let her go”.
A swirl of media attention remains focused on this story as the case drags on into its’ fourth week with no relief for the family and community in sight. Victoria “disappeared” on her way home from school after apparently being picked up by a perosn she may have recognized on April the 8th, 2009 at approxiamtely 3:30 pm.
It seems completely baffling to me and thousands of others who are watching this case that one 8 year old girl could be grabbed from a public school in plain view of friends, teachers and other parents who were retrieving their children that day after a day of study and that the child made no motion towards another person, parent, student, tree or anything while being abducted, but instead walked willingly into the hands of a complete stranger? It is stunning that not one single person in this entire city has stood up to say that they saw something that day that was completely out of the ordinary. I’m not sure what to think but I do know one thing and that is this;I feel utterly sickened by this entire journey our community is now travelling through.

Something seems very wrong here.It is not like Toronto, where not many people know you. I keep thinking that the mother may knows more than she says she does.By this time I would be really going nuts for that poor little girl.

There’s something wrong here I agree. Why would you not have a news conference if your child is missing?

there will be a big twist and turn to this by the time it is all done…….weaving a web of lies is hard work, it will fall apart soon, her mother is playing a dangerous game with a little beautiful girls life….

there could have been things said, the police did say that there were many tips, whether they are looking into them is another story all together

I read that she was partying at a bar awhile back while her daughter was missing. She has to know something and I think time will tell. I bet the Police suspected her all along and/or some people in the family.

Is it possible this child has been sold into a child pornography/sex trade ring? Seems strange there is no body, seems strange they claim she was killed the very same day, yet was taken for “sexual purposes”, since she was taken late in the day, there could not have been much happen. Sexual perverts usually keep the victim longer. This woman who took her breeds dogs (perhaps to make money?), sells drugs, so maybe the sale of a child is not much of a stretch? Have the police considered this?
