Missing Tori Stafford Case Gets Wierder Everyday

The mother of missing 8 year old Victoria Stafford has told reporters covering the missing child case that last week(Thursday) she was taken to Toronto in a limousine to meet a mystery person who then offered to cover any and all ransom requests after hearing the story on TV while on layover from some other part of the world in Toronto.
According to Tara Macdonald a driver for the mystery unidentified woman snuck through neighbouring backyards, eluding reporters and police that stood watch around the Macdonald house without arousing any suspicion from neighbours at all!
The driver then loaded up Macdonald in the limo(one must presume that they snuck through backyards again to get there as the limo was supposedly parked around the corner…out of sight of the entire neighbourhood)and drove her to a Toronto hotel(at the airport)where Macdonald then met the mystery donor who told her that their child was kidnapped and murdered some years past and who carried with them a small bag of blonde hair that apprently they carry with them everywhere after having had their child stolen and murdered. Apparently the person claims that police told them not to pay a ransom and that their child was murdered because of that police action.
Well, I don’t know what to think, but what i do know is this has got to be one of the wierdest not an abduction, now an abduction, not a missing person, now a missing person cases I have ever read about anywhere.
Now the mom says that hey, that person probably wasn’t a stranger after watching the tape of her repeatedly…which is contrary to all of the statements she has made previously in her daily media scrums. I wonder what has changed her mind about that tape now?
Something doesn’t make a lot of sense here. All I know is one 8 year old child is missing, and there doesn’t seeem to be a lot of hope that the community will find her alive after weeks of being gone.

This whole thing is becoming even stranger. The mother is becoming less credible by the day – to me. Something is wrong with this picture.

This has been strange from the go-get. We can only hope that this little girl is OK.

I think this case has been strange too. They say the family only moved a week before, and the presume this case is a personal one. Who knew they were moving? The mother refers to Tori as her Kid, that bothers me too. If it was my child, i would be screaming from the rooftops, till they found my child. This video they keep on showing about tori being led away by a woman. The video is sooooo blurry, how would they even know its tori? The government has the real version of google earth, they can see or find anyone they want too. Just my opinion.

Interesting preceding post. I wonder if they’ve pondered looking through sattelite imagery?

Check out the video again of Tori and the mystery woman. If Tori is 4’5″ tall, then the woman in the video is more accurately at least 5’5″ It appears in the video that Tori doesn’t even come up to the woman’s shoulder. My niece is 5’8″ and we measured against her 4’5″ and found that 4’5″ didn’t quite reach the top of her shoulder. Maybe the police should analyze this again. Also I noticed in one of Tara’s conferences she is wearing a ivory sweater, could we be mistaking that the mystery woman is wearing a puffy white coat? Maybe it’s an ivory sweater…hmmm. I heard that Tara also has a white coat that the police have seized. Could this case become any weirder…we’ll have to wait and see.

It appears to me that an anonymous poster here has some very nasty things to say about Tori's mother. In fact it definitely feels personal & that this person know's Tara & for some reason has a gripe of some sort with her.

I would advise you to be careful what you say as a lot of these comments by you are possibly libelous.

And Jim, I'm not sure if you might be held to account for these too, as it's your blog.

Making allegations, & especially at this time, is unproductive. The focus should be on FINDING Tori, not attacking her mom or anyone else.

Just spotted some of these things here. Had no time to follow up on comments yesterday.
I agree that people should hold their tongues…send your suspicions to the police instead.
Also, whoever has the hard on for Ron Fraser here…should call Ron himself. He’s a pretty easy to talk to kind of guy.
So please folks, enough of the nastiness! Comment, but don’t libel anyone ok????

Ron Fraser is not, and has never been, a policeman nor an administrator. He is a politician, and not a particularly bright or subtle one. The fact that he has buffaloed you, Jim, into believing he is a good guy is despairing to say the least.

I would not waste the polices time with my thoughts and suspicions. I believe 3/4’s of the city shares my feelings and if we all call the police on our feelings we are taking them away from finding Tara.

Do I think the mother is guilty…. 100%.
Karma will bite you in the ass everytime. She is has what’s coming to her coming.

I have always hated the fact that when a child is missing, mom is the first target, when things start getting cold. But!!! I have to say that when I saw the interview about the limo and the mystery donor, It certainly made me wonder. It sounds too hokey! With all the pressure on the police, I am sure they are trying to find little Tori and then worry about the who and why. I couldn’t sleep after I saw that interview, I am thinking something is going to come to light, and it will all fall in place. Please God let it be so!

Why is the mother never out looking for her baby girl? Is it she spends to much time primping and getting new outfits to appear for her interviews each day, Was there when she closed Charlies bar the other night. Is that helping find her daughter who nrver lived with her in the first place, she lived with her grandma

why is the mother setting up trust funds, should the money not be used to help find Tory. Aso why is she using raised funds to pay her bills? she does not work. WE pay for her with our taxes because she is on welfare and has been for a long time. What kind of mother takes such funds given to help find Tori and uses them for her own personal use. DISGUSTING

    your all really harsh
maybe Tori live with her grandmother cause her mom knows she doesnt really have what it takes to take care of her
you shouldnt judge unless you know everything about the family
and i doubt you will unless your apart of the family
if it is the case that Tori lives with her grandmother cause her mom knows that she isnt able to take care of her, then that means she does care for her, it means she wants the best for her.
shes a mother whoes missing her child
how would you all feel if you were Tori’s mom and you had to deal with a missing child AND the fact that everyone thinks its you.
