Does Anyone Produce/Print Shopping Bags In Woodstock?

DOES WOODSTOCK ONTARIO HAVE ANYONE WHO PRODUCES SHOPPING BAGS ?
Just a thought…but after speaking to a Brantford sales rep for a packaging company I was disgusted to learn that our local BIA actually ordered all of those COW bags from an out of town company(that frankly has really poor pricing)leaving me to wonder…who does the Woodstock BIA actually support if they do not buy their packaging materials locally?
So much for supporting Woodstock businesses.I’m sure someone here could have printed those bags.

Oh c’mon. If our federal government can buy our olympic athletes’ uniforms in China surely our BIA can buy shopping bags from an out of town suppler.

If the CPC won’t stand up for Canada why should the BIA stand up for Woodstock? 🙂

Was there a tendering process involved? That would change the dynamics of the issue.

“Was there a tendering process involved?”

We’ll never know. The BIA operates quietly, behind closed doors in their newly renovated 2nd story luxury suite. They’re about as accountable as Council.

‘Read the city budget, its all there”

A budget? A budget is a generalized projection of expenses and revenues for a future period. We’re talking about a line item expense here. Provide a link for this hypothetical budget you’re talking about.

It’s never “all” there in a city budget, at least not the versions presented to the public. City budgets should qualify as entries in competition for the Booker Prize for contemporary fiction.

So where is the link to this budget that answers the questions? A specific link that points to the purchase in question if you please.

Don’t hold your breath waiting folks. This jerkwad has pulled this crap before. We’re not getting a link. We are however getting rid of him in 2 years (sooner if we’re lucky).
