Why The ‘Fug’ Is Dave Mackenzie Running For These Idiots?

In a story by Glen McGregor of The Ottawa Citizen, it has been revealed that senior Conservative Party officials badgered and cajoled the local Conservative incumbent Dave Mackenzie begging him to participate in a highly questionable scheme that is being referred to now as the ‘in and out’ electoral finance scandal.
According to the story, local riding official Bruce Richardson(a former Ingersoll police chief) questioned the practice and explained to the national campaign director that the Mackenzie campaign didn’t have enough room for another $10,000.00 as they had topped out their legal contributions limits.
Michael Donison, the Conservative Party’s national director in back and forth emails to the party’s regional organizer for South Western Ontario John Bracken, stated that “These people really take the cake,” and “What a bunch of turds – this is not going to cost them a cent nor give them a moment of cash flow problem and in fact will allow them $6,000 more in their reimbursement and they still try to wiggle out!” Bracken responded by stating that “These idiots in Oxford have now told me they don’t have room for the $10K.”
Mr. Donison then advised Mr. Bracken that “the fear of God needs to be put into these Oxford people and they need to be told that they may get billed for this and that it will (sic) their election expense under the Act.”
Bracken then wrote back to say that he has found a solution for “the Oxford betrayal” another Ontario campaign will absorb the $10,000 cost.
Bracken then asks Mr. Donison to “do me a favour Mike and have the heavies from Ottawa come down like a ton of brick on BRUCE RICHARDS.”
So, I wonder, is this why Bruce Richards chose not to help out Dave this year? And secondly, just why in the hell would Dave want to work with a bunch of nasty buggers like that anyways? It’s hard to believe that the party “heavies” have been able to silence this once vocal MP, but then again, it’s not so difficult to believe considering the leadership of the party is so far out there.
One more shining example that in Oxford, we certainly are not being represented by anyone other than the leadership of the party and not the locally elected MP.

I guess that’s the price of honesty in the CPC. You’re either a turd or an idiot. If you’re silly enough to be honest publicly like Chris Reid you’re turfed.

Don’t let the fact that they’ve appropriated the Conservative/Tory name fool you. These people are not the Conservative Party we grew up with.

That is terrible. The story appears to say that David felt uncomfortable with the in and out scheme, and that because he refused to be a party to a crime, is now called an idiot by his parties’ top people?
You must wonder why he would defend that type of governance.

What a piss poor excuse. It’s quite clear that he is a part of the problem and will never be a part of the solution.

Really? You’ve never backed down from management to keep your job?

MPs aren’t special. They’d like you to think they are but most of them are no different from the average wage slave. Take a look at who is sitting at the table at the next all candidates meeting next time. Do they look special to you? Any one of them could wind up as our next MP. All it takes is a wacky vote split and we could wind up with the Honourable Martha Dennis or Cathy Mott. They’re not special and winning an election doesn’t make them any more so.

Parliament is just City Council with limousines. Why do you think the country is in such a mess?

Mr.Bender.You make quite a speech. you should cut your hair, put on a suit, then run for office.Instead of sitting at the table with the rest. you would be getting a pension for life.
