Toyota Delays Production Startup on Second Line

Toyota Delays Startup Of Woodstock Second Line
Has the bubble that is Toyota finally burst?
This week Toyota manufacturing announced that their freshly built with government grant and taxpayer subsidies, Woodstock facility will no longer be ramped up to full production and that the second shift will now be delayed…INDEFINITELY!
Woodstock Mayor Michael Harding who was always on hand for any big Toyota announcement(or any announcement that might make him look good)…was unusually silent this weekend after hearing the news. I guess he’s afraid to take any credit for this portion of the Toyota deal.
So, for all the folks that are strapped with a bastardly high property tax bill…it looks like you’ll be paying that bill without seeing any of the economic benefits that were promised by the mayor in return for you kicking out more tax dollars.
When I was a kid, my mother always told me…don’t put all your eggs into one basket…in case you trip. Let’s just hope the rabbit Harding pulled out of his hat(according to him he was/is the chief reason for Toyota coming to Woodstock) in the form of Toyota..isn’t the only trick he knew.
If he was a CONservative, he could beg DM and Harper for some cash to buy them all some votes here.

What do you mean my “silent”? I heard him on the radio and on TV. And what do you mean by a “second line”?

The second shift has been cancelled entirely.
