TOO BUSY TO SHOW UP FOR THE FIRST MEETING, WOODSTOCK MAYOR WANTS ART GALLERY ISSUE RE-OPENED, EVEN THOUGH COUNCIL DUMPED THE PLAN
The issue of the new art gallery was raised once again at last night’s council meeting, June 19, 2008.
For someone who has made himself absent from both meetings when the issue was on the agenda, our Mayor certainly seems to be in a hurry to pass this feasibility study.
What’s the panic? We haven’t received the results of the first study we paid for yet. Why is Harding in such a panic to get this thing passed? There’s something going on here and it smells. He’s trying to pull a fast one. There is no reason to rush this business … at least there’s no “legitimate”reason. He’s trying to slide something through again and you can bet it won’t be for the benefit of the taxpayers. Keep an eye on this one.

You obviously haven’t been keeping up on the art gallery business.
His Specialness is trying to fast track a mega-project tentatively budgeted at 5 Million bucks to build a monument to his (and his chums on the gallery advisory board) self-importance.
He’s trying to pull an end run around the feasibility studies and ram his pet project through.
If this reminds you of the methods used to try to expand a certain golf course, it should.

He wants this done so he can get in the sack with his Art Gallery buddy Shirley Julian. No visuals please, 2 whales humping…As well he needs it quick before he goes to jail for the Info-Energy fiasco and breach of trust. He’ll be some bikers bitch but the time the next election comes around.
